Fantastic view of Wawel Castle from the southern bank of the Vistula River next to Dębnicki Bridge.

Very nice view; relaxed run along river. River bank opposite of castle and old town is less crowded on wekkends and afternoons. Plan to vary length of run on this side.

There are strict access restrictions to the floating bathing platforms. On a nice summer day, a queue quickly forms. Once the maximum number of bathers is reached, you have to wait until other people leave. It's worth arriving early if the weather is nice.

The lake is easily accessible by tram (Norymberska station). Approaching the lake from the tram, you'll experience a wow factor: the view of the lake, the steep cliffs, and the floating bathing platforms are simply impressive. Kraków has truly created something special for its residents here.

The Father Bernatek footbridge links the Kazimierz and Podgórze districts. The picturesque river crossing is popular with pedestrians and cyclists alike. It was built in 2010 at the site of the former Podgórski bridge. It is named after Father Laetus Bernatek, founder of the hospital of the Brothers Hospitallers in Kraków. The distinctive curve of the 145 metre-long bridge is lit from underneath, and the barriers are fitted with LED lights. Fascinating balancing sculptures made by Jerzy Kędzior are suspended above.

Find Zakrzowek on Google images and you'll know you want to see it. It's a huge body of water made in old quarry. Only local people know it and love it. It's huge, beautiful, with crystal water, surrounded with park and rocks with amazing views, you'd never expect something like this in the very heart of Cracow. Best place to rest, appreciate nature, take some sunbath, swim, meet local people and students.
