At this beautiful spot by the water, in the former Kottlasjön Hydropower Plant, a bakery and café are now located. It’s the perfect place to relax after a walk, right by the lake, where fresh bread and pastries are baked daily. Vattenverket is open every day from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Vasaparken was built in the 19th century. During the First World War, potatoes were grown here, as in many other parks in Stockholm. In the last period of her life, writer Astrid Lindgren lived in an apartment overlooking the park and Vasaparken appears regularly in her books. As a tribute, the section on the east side was named after Astrid Lindgren.

In Sven-Harrys Konstmuseum you can see Sven-Harry Karlsson's unique art collection, mainly of Scandinavian artists, contemporary and classical. The museum is a golden 'house' on the edge of Vasaparken and is also beautiful to view from the outside.
