Perhaps more of a cycling highlight. The route along the river is paved, and in good weather, there are countless cyclists out and about. The scenery, however, is magnificent!

A small boulder that you can climb. There's a rope guardrail attached. 🙈. The view is obscured by the trees.

St. Stephen's Church Kvilda, St. Stephen's Church Originally, Kvilda was a village of wooden houses, including the rectory and St. Stephen's Church with its Baroque dome. After the great fire of 1889, which destroyed almost the entire community, stone houses were built here, and the burned-down church was replaced in 1984 by a pseudo-Gothic structure roofed with typical Bohemian Forest shingles. The church was built under the direction of Jan Štěrbík and financed by Prince Franz Thun von Hohenstein. (c) https://www.sumavanet.cz/ki/kv/fr.asp?tab=ki_kv&id=1022&burl=&pt=TUMZ&lng=de
