Currently, the Zollbrücke Wiesenrain (Widnau-Lustenau) is completely closed due to renovation work. Also for cyclists AND pedestrians!! in March-April-May 2026 and probably a bit longer?

YES, the HABSBURG is really worth a visit, not only because of the cool drinks they have there, but also salads (small and large) with chicken strips and homemade special sauces/dips. What can I say, just try it yourself!!

Short, steep climb, also easily manageable with a racing bike.

Super useful! Just be careful that the water fountain has a very high water pressure...otherwise, very glad to see these around!

Yes, this station actually exists, see photos. It's located in Austria, just before the Swiss border. There's also an information board about the Vorarlberg cycling route network.

If this spot exists, it's a huge advantage for all cyclists. We cycled past it.

Komoot features over 30 dedicated no-traffic road cycling routes around Singapore, catering to various skill levels. These routes are designed to offer a safe and enjoyable experience away from vehicular traffic.
Yes, Singapore offers several easy and relatively flat no-traffic road cycling routes, perfect for beginners or family outings. The extensive Park Connector Network (PCN) is ideal for relaxed rides. For example, the Baggersee Kriessern – Pathway in St. Gallen loop from Heerbrugg is an easy option, as is the View of Hoher Kasten – Altstätten Old Town loop from Diepoldsau.
Singapore's no-traffic routes often feature beautiful coastal views, lush green spaces, and urban landmarks. You can enjoy scenic rides along areas like Changi Coastal Road or the Changi Bay Point – Changi Beach loop. Routes around reservoirs such as Lower Seletar also offer extensive views. While the provided route data doesn't directly link to Singaporean highlights, the region is known for attractions like Gardens by the Bay, Southern Ridges with Henderson Waves, and the rustic charm of Pulau Ubin, which are great for exploring off the bike.
Many of Singapore's no-traffic road cycling routes are designed as loops, allowing you to start and end at the same point. This is particularly common within the Park Connector Network and around reservoirs. The New Rhine bridge near Fussach – Hard–Fußach Rhine Bridge loop from Lustenau is a great example of a circular route available on komoot.
Singapore has a tropical climate, meaning it's warm and humid year-round. The best time for road cycling is generally during the drier months from February to April, or June to August, when there's less rainfall. However, cycling is possible throughout the year, with many routes offering shade. It's always advisable to check the weather forecast before heading out, especially during the monsoon seasons (Northeast Monsoon from December to early March, and Southwest Monsoon from June to September).
While Singapore is generally flat, experienced cyclists can find more demanding routes that incorporate some climbs. Areas like Mount Faber and the Sentosa loops, including the steep Serapong Hills, offer more challenging terrain. Longer round-island routes also provide significant distances. The Neienried Climb – Rheinburg in Walzenhausen loop from Lustenau, with its significant elevation gain, is an example of a moderate to difficult route on komoot.
The komoot community highly rates the road cycling experience in Singapore, with an average score of 4.41 stars from 43 ratings. Reviewers often praise the well-maintained paths, the integration of green spaces, and the ability to enjoy scenic rides away from traffic, particularly along coastal areas and within the Park Connector Network.
Yes, Singapore's excellent public transport system (MRT and bus) provides good access to many cycling routes, especially those within the Park Connector Network. Cyclists can often bring their bikes on trains and buses during off-peak hours, making it convenient to reach starting points or return from end points. Always check the latest public transport regulations for bicycles.
Many of Singapore's cycling routes, particularly those along the Park Connector Network and coastal areas, are well-equipped with amenities. You'll often find cafes, hawker centers, and convenience stores at regular intervals, especially near parks and popular cycling hubs, making it easy to refuel and hydrate during your ride.
For those looking for longer rides, Singapore offers extensive routes that can be linked together, such as the round-island routes or combinations of various Park Connectors. The View of Säntis – Appenzell Town Center loop from Rebstein-Marbach is a longer route available on komoot, covering over 44 km.
