I did the trail from the bottom on a road e-bike without suspension and without good tire tread. It worked quite well. I had to dismount in a few places (stream crossings). There are many loose, round stones and some roots. But for the most part, the trail is wide and pleasant. The so-called "Polish Trail" (built by Polish internees during World War II) runs through the protective forest of the Rigi Nordlehne.
