An idyllic little castle with a small castle garden and a little history to go with it. The castle opened its doors today for the first time in 30 years for the 2025 Heritage Open Day and was open for visitors, including a guided tour. The castle garden is always open.

Unfortunately, the path was damaged by construction machinery, and in places it was so sandy that cycling through was impossible. Bikes had to be pushed.

These circular routes are convenient for day trips, as you don't need to arrange return transport.
Potsdam-Mittelmark's gravel trails often lead through stunning natural areas and past historical sites. You can explore the dense forests and gentle hills of the Hoher Fläming Nature Park, the expansive wetlands of the Nuthe-Nieplitz Nature Park, or the wide river meadows of Westhavelland.
