A very beautiful spot on the lake. At low tide, there's even a small sandbar. From here, you have a beautiful view across to Friedrichshafen.

The main flowering period for irises is from mid-May to early June. Most iris fields are located near the Eriskirch lido. Please stay on the paths. There were so many tracks visible in the meadows.

From mid-May to early June, the Eriskircher Ried unfolds its most lush colorful splendor: Thousands of Siberian irises transform the scattered meadows into a blue sea of flowers, interspersed with some yellow dabs of the yellow flag iris. The Siberian iris, called Iris by the locals, is a species that is severely endangered in its population, and which probably has the most beautiful populations nationwide around Lake Constance. The name derives from the distribution of the species, which extends to Western Siberia. However, it is an originally native wild plant that was not introduced by humans! You can admire the iris bloom particularly beautifully on the access road to the Eriskirch lido as well as on the path towards Langenargen.
