Here stands a Saxon electoral post mile column from the time when Auma still belonged to the Neustädter Kreis of Saxony. On the grounds of the current school park was the sawmill of the Köhler family. The school park was created at the end of the 1960s and was redesigned in 2006, thus acquiring its current appearance. To the west, there is a beautiful view through the trees across the meadows.
