Above Burgwenden (about 1.5 km uphill from the town exit sign), next to the parking lot, is this "recreational and scout site." Anyone can use it as they please—children especially enjoy it. There's a portable toilet and a brick barbecue/fire pit.

The abandoned gate of Beichlingen Castle is a fascinating relic that exudes a touch of history and mysticism. It is part of the impressive castle complex, which lies in the middle of an idyllic landscape.
