Dippelsdorf is a desert west of Ahlsdorf in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz. The former village lies in a valley on the upper reaches of the Dippelsbach, one of the source streams of the Evil Seven. The foundations of some houses can still be seen. Dippelsdorf was mentioned as Theotbaldesdorpf in the Hersfeld tithe directory at the end of the 9th century. The Sittichenbach monastery owned a monastery courtyard in the village. Probably in the 14th century the place was abandoned by its residents. Whether as a result of armed conflicts (Halberstadt bishop's feud) or for other reasons is not known. In 1484, the place is also referred to as desolate in the sources.

A really cool region for hiking in the Harz Mountains, even if the stream is relatively small.
