Between Lutter and Fürstenhagen, once used as a water source to supply the inhabitants and livestock of Fürstenhagen, lies the Hanerborn spring. In 2023, it was newly encased through voluntary work, the spring carries water all year round and is now even a registered biotope for the fire salamander. During the construction of the water pipeline in 1906, droplet-like pieces of glass as well as charcoal remnants were found here, which originate from a former glass-blowing workshop. A pavilion near the spring invites you to take a break.
