A very nice café where you can enjoy a pot of East Frisian tea and Frisian cake in a pleasant and delicious atmosphere. Dogs are welcome in the downstairs area.

Since I was on my bike, I was looking forward to a break with a good coffee and a slice of homemade cake. Instead, I found myself in an East Frisian farm shop, which you can only enter with an EC card – very trustworthy. Inside, everything is self-service: coffee from a machine in a paper cup and plenty of "regional" products, which seem to come from generous purchases rather than from home-grown production. Payment, of course, is completely contactless – in the truest sense of the word. So I decided to just keep cycling.
