This postmill, which is over 400 years old, is located in a very beautiful place on the Allerufer in Londy Park. It was still used until 1948, when it slowly fell into disrepair. It stood in the neighboring town of Frankenfeld and was placed under monument protection. The district bought it and donated it to the city of Rethem. In 1955 it was dismantled and rebuilt in Londy Park. With a bakery and a barn it has become a beautiful group. You can sit beautifully and find out more about the mill.

A castle used to stand here on the Allerfurth. It was around the year 1200. At that time, tolls were charged for transit. The castle fell into disrepair and was leveled. Archaeologists dug in 2000 and uncovered some of the period. The remains of the foundations were preserved and integrated into new buildings.
