0 out of 5 stars The route is often completely overcrowded and nowhere near as attractive as described by other users. The constant noise from the highway, the adjacent road, and the directly adjoining golf course completely ruins any enjoyment of nature and prevents any sightings of wildlife. There are definitely much more appealing areas in this region!

From the beech tree, don't necessarily take the path further below the road, as the hiking trail no longer exists there and you have to make your way through the undergrowth. Not far from a small cornfield, you'll also see a sign on a fallen tree indicating that the hiking trail used to be there. It's best to cross the road again and take a path to the right in the forest opposite to do a loop, or return the same way.

Sarnekow car park. Well located for various tours. The driveway is in poor condition (beginning of 2025), unsuitable for sports cars.

A fine, small lake with a great view of the same...

Even when flooded and partially frozen over in winter, it is an idyllic landscape.

@Thomas D. Hello Thomas and thank you for your tip, but unfortunately you confused two parking spaces here. This parking lot "Sarnekower See" is located south of Sarnekower See. The Mühlenweg car park you are referring to is located north-east of Sarnekower See in Mühlenweg. Also a good starting point for tours in the area.

At the moment, water is being drained from the lake again through the weir, and then the large adjacent meadow is always almost completely under water.

...and again the meadows are under water, a lot of water rushes through the weir out of the lake...
