A detour to the church, for example, is worth it. The only way to get to the lake from this side is a public place, which may not be very inviting.

Here are tree-covered mounds, inside which are Bronze Age tombs. If the two signs weren't right next to this special archaeological site, you'd walk past them without paying any attention.

The Warner Abbey Church stands at the bottom of the old, before 1233 built church. This had to be demolished because of sponges. 1874 to 1878, a larger church was built. The interior decorates a painted wooden ceiling in the style of the Wartburg. Altarpiece, pulpit and stalls make a harmonious whole. At the end of the 20th century the church was extensively renovated. Many beautiful wood paintings were uncovered and restored. https://www.auf-nach-mv.de/reiseziele/a-wariner-stiftskirche
