Directly from the B 111, an avenue with partly 160-year-old trees and cobblestones leads to the Neu Pudagla forestry office. The forestry office offers exciting discoveries with the Forest Cabinet and the Usedom Stone Garden. Wooden seating sets and a covered pavilion invite you to linger. Warm meals and drinks are also available in the forest and wildlife shop. An eye-catcher is our insect hotel and the swallow tree. You can also get there easily via the Usedom Island Railway stop. The forest shop is great for a stop and the sensation is the stone garden: "On an approximately 300 m long circular path, 155 erratic boulders are exhibited. With one exception, all these erratic boulders were found on the island of Usedom. [...] At approximately 2 billion years old, the rocks from Uppland in Sweden are the oldest, and the Cretaceous flints, at approximately 80 million years old, are the youngest exhibits. [...] The rocks are arranged in the exhibition according to their areas of origin. Visitors can thus experience a circular route across Bornholm, Southern and Central Sweden to Finland and through the Baltic Sea basin back via Rügen to Usedom. The information offer includes small signs, on which the most important metadata for each exhibit are provided, including location, age, and origin." https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usedomer_Gesteinsgarten

Very nice place. We were there on a Sunday (closed) and completely alone. We really liked it, but unfortunately we couldn't try the delicious cakes as described 😁. Small recommendation: there is a small café by the church in the old fire station. Great cake and a lovingly designed garden!!!
