The Mönchsdeggingen monastery is a former monastery of the Mariannhill missionaries. It was in the 10th/11th. Founded Century. When the last monk left, the monastery was finally closed in 2009. The monastery church and the cemetery were transferred to a church foundation. The monastery building is in private hands. Unfortunately, the monastery church was closed when we visited.
