Information panel on the richest Bronze Age girl's grave in Hesse. This burial became known as the "Molzbach Girl" because her age was initially estimated at around 12 to 14 years. Today, it is believed that the deceased was around 20 years old. This assumption has been scientifically confirmed: In 2022, Fulda city and district archaeologist Milena Wingenfeld and radiologist Dr. M. Fokko Zilles received the bones on loan from Kassel. Detailed radiological examination revealed that "the girl" was indeed a young woman. According to the analysis of the teeth, some of which were still in her jaw, she was almost 22 years old. Replicas can be viewed on site at the Konrad Zuse Museum in Hünfeld. The original finds are in the Hessian State Museum. (Source: Wikipedia)
