A large playground is located in the immediate vicinity of the snack stalls, as well as many park benches with a view of the Elbe. On the Lühe pier, there is also a snack bar with tasty snacks and drinks. The Lühe Schulau ferry sails from here across to the other side of the Elbe.

Around the Deinster Mühle is a forest area with great hiking trails and cycling paths. Fishing ponds are available and are very popular with sport anglers. A visit is recommended.
