The Waldhotel Kreuztanne didn't just fill us up, it made us pretty happy too – and that's saying something! The upscale gastronomy here is convincing all along the line: every dish is a small work of art, which almost makes you feel guilty to eat it... almost. The flavors are so finely tuned that you wonder if the kitchen can secretly do magic. The service? Simply first-class! Friendly, attentive, and with just the right amount of charm – we felt like they could read our every wish from our eyes (luckily including the one for dessert). Especially nice: Dogs are also warmly welcomed at the Waldhotel, making the stay even more pleasant for all animal lovers. Yes, the prices are high, but honestly: you get so much quality and enjoyment here that in the end you think "It was worth it!" rather than "Oh dear, my account...". Conclusion: We are completely thrilled and have already mentally booked our next visit. As we were leaving, the thought briefly crossed our minds to just stay seated and order the next round right away – it was that good! (Visit on 28.03.2026 at lunchtime)
