A Romanesque hall church at its core. A high, pointed turret. The choir was separated during renovations. Inside, a baptismal font made of Rochlitz porphyry and a standing angel baptismal font in the gallery.

On the side where the Chemnitz arrives you can only get there on foot. The path is very overgrown. On the other side of the road you can find a place to take photos.

Clara Zetkin spent her childhood in this house in Wiederau from 1857 to 1874. The memory of the famous daughter of the cantor and village school teacher, Gottfried Eißner, is lovingly cared for and preserved by a voluntary local history society. We signed up for a history lesson in good time and were warmly looked after with coffee, biscuits and lots of history about Clara Zetkin's life. We were thrilled.
