Glasau Manor, whose manor house was built in 1912 in the English style, is owned by the von Hoff family and used as a working farm. It is quite large, with numerous barns and outbuildings, both farm and residential. I couldn't find any evidence of its past as a knight's estate or aristocratic residence. It's well worth a visit and is open to the public.

Here you will find another rest area or shelter right on the side of the road. It seems to be quite new and well maintained. Is recommended.

Bridge over the still narrow Trave, which has just merged with the Glasau a few hundred meters to the north (sorry, the Glasau did not survive this, otherwise there might be a "Glausaumünde" near Lübeck instead of a Travemünde ...?!)
