In front of the church is the famous freestanding city tower with 254 steps and an elevator. Entrance fee is €3 for climbing/viewing the tower, and from here you can enjoy stunning views all around. Since 2006, this has housed the world's highest planetarium.

Here, however, the central element of the cemetery is a figure of the risen Christ, made of light wood, under a round roof.
