Very nice, met locals, and thankfully the hut was open and saved us from starving and thirsting. Until then, there was no place to stop on the long tour. The hut is only open on weekends, as it is maintained by the Naturfreunde. It has been newly renovated and looks great. It is definitely recommended and worth stopping by.
