The sign reads: "The name comes from the time when the lake was still filled with red water, but there was a lot of windsurfing on the water. According to hearsay, some surf instructors have turned here with one or the other surf student. We leave everything else to your imagination... Windsurfing was discontinued after the trees around the lake grew too tall and the wind could no longer sweep across the lake with enough force to blow the windsurfers' sails properly. Today the area is used by the Army Sports Club Horn, section dogs, for training purposes. ... Swimming, also applies to dogs, is not allowed! Thank you! market town of Langau" At the front on the shore you will find the beautiful "Seeblick" platform, to which a separate highlight is dedicated.

The large wooden viewing platform is a beautiful place to unwind while looking out over the lake. It is also suitable for observing animals. Warning: the route of the water skiers passes here and there is danger to life, so do not swim here, jump off the jetty or let the dogs bathe!

Here a myriad of stones (stoa) were brought in by hand to create a place and protect it from the waves of the lake. When fishing, the place is reserved for the fishermen. If you want to watch, please ask!
