The Hyrtl Orphanage was an orphanage in Mödling (Mödling district) in Lower Austria. The first three building sections were built in 1886 by master builder and architect Eugen Sehnal, and the further buildings were erected by various master builders until 1906. The financing was possible because the well-known anatomist Josef Hyrtl donated his fortune for the construction. In 1906, the complex reached its greatest extent.

The name comes from the fact that there was a hospital in the adjoining building to the west. Under the designation Spital in the earlier sense, a home for the poor and elderly is to be understood.
