The "Egererbrücke, Nr. 1 (west)" (also Egerer-Brückl) is located in the Lobau in the 22nd district of Vienna Donaustadt. The 12 meter long and 1 meter wide pedestrian bridge over the Groß-Enzersdorfer Arm was built in 1999 and has the object number B22C101. Inconceivable today, but tickets for the Au were once sold at the so-called Egerer-Brückl. The Obere Lobau was surrounded by a fence from 1926 to 1938 and, by order of the municipality, entry was only permitted between Easter Sunday and All Saints' Day for a fee.
