Summit cross Rauher Kopf - Panoramic view somewhat restricted as it is located in the middle of the forest. Nevertheless, a beautiful place. Summit book and stamp station!!!

The lido on the Gieringer Weiher is the only access to the lake. A very quiet place to relax and unwind. There is also catering available there.

opposite the train station there is a wooden frame to look through. Position yourself a little to the left of it, and you'll have a dream picture that professional photographers travel for: the hut on the Schwarzsee, the birches, framed by the Wilder Kaiser.

Today's Kitzbühel Town Hall, a historic building in the city center, has a long history closely linked to the city's development. Originally a mining court until 1821, the building was converted into a town hall around 1840. The current building dates from 1954/55. A relief at the entrance commemorates the ski pioneer Franz Reisch, who introduced winter sports to Kitzbühel around 1892/93.

To the pilgrims lingering before this small sacred monument with its special dedication as a "Cross of Peace"—what more could the world need in these times?—I would like to offer Pope Leo XIV's welcoming words as a small, personal encouragement to peace. Immediately after his election, before bestowing the traditional blessing "urbi et orbi" (to the city and the world) upon the waiting faithful, he addressed the people gathered in St. Peter's Square, as well as those participating via radio, television, and online media, with these moving words: + "Peace be with you all! Dear brothers and sisters, this is the first greeting of the Risen Christ, the Good Shepherd... I too hope that this greeting of peace will enter your hearts, reach your families, all people, wherever they are, all nations, the whole earth. Peace be with you!" This is the peace of the risen Christ, an unarmed and disarming peace, humble and persevering. It comes from God, the God who loves us all unconditionally." (Robert Francis Prevost / Pope Leo XIV)
