Just a boulder. No need to see it, there are plenty of rocks around.

I didn't perceive it as religious. However, it's possible that the church wanted to impose its faith on this area, which had been inhabited for a very long time.

A modern viewing platform with impressive views over the Rhine Valley and the surrounding mountains. Particularly atmospheric in fog and a sea of clouds.

With its multi-pointed spire, stair towers and finely curved roofs, gables and wall pillars, the Koblach parish church is a striking sight just by its exterior. Like a castle, it stands on the slope of the Kummenberger and is a striking landmark of the village. When it was completed in 1907 - according to plans by the Swiss architect Albert Rimli - it replaced the previous baroque church. The interior design took longer to arrive, however. It was only after an external restoration in the 1960s that the church received the furnishings that can be seen today. At the same time, the ceiling panels, which had previously been kept plain white, were painted. Frescoes by the Innsbruck artist Wolfram Köberl on the themes of creation, redemption and glorification can be seen on the church ceiling. @copyright vorarlberg
