Today I could only see the dug caves, the marmots were all hiding.

The view into the valley and the mountain scenery complete the perfect Wilder Berg adventure.

The Wilde Berg is definitely worth a trip, a real highlight for families with children. Take the chairlift up to 1100m. From the mountain station, you walk to the middle station, passing all the attractions along the way. It's practically always downhill, and there's no physical exertion, so you can comfortably view all the enclosures and their animals. Culinary delights can be enjoyed at the Steinbock Alm, although the restaurant was quite full today. Shortly before the middle station, there is a rather large playground for the little ones. The attractions are very adventurous and action-packed, and adults will surely feel transported back to their childhood. However, many attractions require an extra payment. From the middle station, there are several options to get back to the valley. You can either take the chairlift back down (included in the entrance fee), or take the summer toboggan run, or the mountain cart. Both attractions, however, require an extra payment. You can also choose a footpath down into the valley.

Although it is not the easiest ascent and descent, you have a good chance of seeing a large number of ibexes.

I have never seen as many ibexes as at Gößeck. Fantastic!

Beautiful mountain with a wonderful view! On clear days, the view stretches from Vienna's local mountains to the Karawanks.
