I hiked through here in March. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed. It wasn't a nice day with rain in sight. But I'll definitely make up for the visit. It already looks good from the outside and the surrounding area is wonderful anyway. By the way, there is also a table tennis table right next to the restaurant. So we already know what we're going to do after dinner ;)

A really, really big meadow of fritillaries. Wonderful. And, as flowers tend to be: The best time to experience them in bloom is the weeks before Easter.

In the middle of the covered wooden bridge there is a viewing platform from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the river. The bridge itself is also absolutely worth seeing.

The small sundial of the Emperor Augustus in Großsteinbach is beautifully designed on this meadow with large Roman numerals made of wood and plant beds, the pointer rising into the sky casts its shadow and shows the time, impressive! https://www.gemeinde-grosssteinbach.at/der-zeitgarten/
