I was lucky enough to marvel at more, less, or all of the viaduct as the clouds drifted by, changing the view every second. It's truly impressive what they built back then, given the circumstances. 👌🏻 There's a picnic area above.

In winter, the lake is frozen, and a flat trail surrounded by mountain slopes is surreal. In summer, the lake shrinks until it almost disappears. Then you can walk on the lake floor (dark earth), like walking on the moon. Also surreal. ;)

Quite stable suspension bridge, but especially the access path from Hohtenn is only suitable for sure-footed and vertigo-free people

🌾🏞️ The mudflats at Daubensee are a fascinating natural phenomenon that is characterized by its unique ecological conditions. This special landscape is created when bodies of water in the alpine region dry up at low water levels and expose wide, flat areas. Here you can experience the diversity of flora and fauna up close! 🌼🐦 The mudflats are an important habitat for many rare bird species that breed or rest here. The colorful flowers and lush greenery provide a breathtaking backdrop that is particularly impressive in spring and summer.
