The Pforzheim National Performance Centre is the training facility for young sport shooters, with the aim of improving performance in order to qualify for the national squad of the German Shooting Federation. On many days of the year, shooters come to the LLZ to further improve their technique. However, the conditioning aspect should not be neglected either; in order to maintain concentration for several hours during strenuous competitions, the athletes have the opportunity to train their own endurance individually in the surrounding forest. For tips and tricks, the shooters are supported by their coaches during courses and competitions, who usually bring many years of experience from their own active shooting careers. Every year, a qualification shoot takes place again in Pforzheim, through which new promising talents are continuously admitted to the LLZ squad.
