Summit County offers a clean and safe range equipped with 50 yard pistol lanes, 100 yard rifle lanes, and a shotgun/trap area with throwers. There are free paper targets and all they ask for are donations and cleaning up your brass. There are strict hours of operation to not annoy nearby home owners (and they will call the cops). https://www.summitcountyco.gov/1014/Summit-County-Shooting-Range

More than anything, Baker's Tank serves as a historical spot that pays memory to the trains that used to travel through the area and had to fill their water tanks here. There is a huge water tank with an informational sign at the trail/road intersection.
