Since 1959, the "Bambi" has been cast here in Süßen. The foundry was founded in 1919 by Ernst Strassacker, a trained chaser at WMF in Geislingen. After the First World War, he was unemployed and initially produced grave decorations and bronze letters. In the post-war period, the company kept afloat with cooking pots and Spätzle presses. Today, the family, in the fourth generation, casts artworks for the whole world, including Uwe Seeler's huge bronze foot at the Hamburg Volksparkstadion. A detour is worthwhile: in the sculpture park, covering over 8,000 m², bronze figures stand among water features.

Ramsberg Castle stands in the territory of the former municipality of Reichenbach unter Rechberg, which has been part of Donzdorf in the Göppingen district of Baden-Württemberg since 1974. The spur castle, along with its associated estate, is situated on a ridge, one of the two southern spurs of the Rehgebirge mountain range. Staufeneck Castle lies on the other (western) spur. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burg_Ramsberg_(Donzdorf)

...the "Staufian Madonna" in the "St. John's Church" in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Baden-Württemberg. - Estimated to have been created in the 12th century - It was originally painted and is the oldest work of art in Schwäbisch Gmünd - The original now stands in the "St. John's Church" - A copy has been located at its previous location, the southwest pillar of the St. John's Church, since 1972, covered by a canopy-like stone block, on the underside of which is a relief image of an angel with outstretched wings - Before this location (St. John's Church), it is now assumed that the Virgin Mary was once moved from the demolished predecessor pillar basilica of today's "Holy Cross Minster" to the neighboring St. John's Church - https://www.schwaebisch-gmuend.de/pressedetails/leuchtende-johanniskirche-14468.html
