The Merzig Animal & Ark Park is home to endangered breeds of farm animals, including Thuringian Forest goats, Hinterwälder cattle, German Karakul, and Meissen rams. South American coatis, alpacas, honey bees, and budgies and cockatiels also live in the enclosures at the Blättelbornweiher pond. The Merzig Animal & Ark Park is open 24 hours a day.
