From here you have a view of the Vijfhuizer Mill. This mill was built in 1874. It was intended to drain the Vijfhuizerpolder and is no longer in operation. It can still turn. You can visit it by appointment. There used to be an earlier mill here that was built around 1650. However, it burned down on the last day of the year 1859.
