The Bachmann-Museum in the town of Bremervörde is a combined regional history and natural history museum and the largest museum institution in the Rotenburg (Wümme) district. It is housed in the oldest building in the town of Bremervörde, the former archiepiscopal chancellery building, which belonged to the Vorwerk of Bremervörde Castle. Previously, the premises were used as the seat of the district administration and until 1991 in parallel as the district archive. A visit is recommended and interesting at the same time 👍🏼.

It is romantically situated between the former chancellery of Vörde Castle - today's Bachmann Museum - and the idyllic course of the Oste river and is a paradise for leisurely walks and bike tours. The "Path of the Talking Trees" extends throughout the entire park area, introducing over 200 trees and shrubs from all over the world.
