A small park on the Kolk Canal near the Herenwalster Bridge. The park was created in 2009 and named Amelius van Oenema Park. Amelius van Oenema was mayor of Schoterland from 1627 to 1647. There are also lovely moorings for houseboats here; we spent a lovely night there.

At the Herenwalster Bridge, you have a fantastic view of the canal and can admire the many houseboats. We also moored there for one night during our houseboat tour.
