It looks wonderful in bloom. In Magdeburg on Holzweg, the Japanese cherry blossoms bloom every year and there are beautiful photo opportunities for many people and a Japanese tour group has already taken photos there 📸 👍

The small, narrow section of the bike path along the Bode River, past the Teufelsmauerstieg (Devil's Wall Trail), is currently impassable due to a fallen tree. Those with enough strength can lift their bikes over it.

The tower mill, made of quarry stone masonry, was built in 1855 by master miller Friedrich Brandt from Warnstedt. For over 80 years, it served day after day, year after year, grinding the grain of the local farmers. Then, in 1941, mechanization and electrification had advanced to such an extent that the mill was discontinued. Until then, the Schröder family had operated the mill.
