It is very difficult to get through the sand by bike. We rode a lot on areas that were still overgrown, but then we had to push bicycles for 200 m. Due to the approaching thunderstorm, we decided to take the short route between Kehrsdorf (near Briesen) and Berkenbrück. The right cycle path leads over the Kehrsdorfer Schleuse with a detour of approx. 3-4 km. The next time we will take the detour on the fixed bike paths again.
