The cannons were located at this memorial site. Today, those anti-aircraft cannon posts have been removed, but you can still clearly see where they were positioned thanks to these stone circles.

At this location, you will find a small open “terrace” in the middle of the woods, overlooking the nature reserve. From here, you can admire a wide stretch of the sea and the Gullholmen nature reserve, which is located on a small island.

This cove is particularly pleasant because it has a sandy beach, whereas most of the other beaches are rocky. Here you can swim and enjoy the sun in peace.

Stop by Alby Kafe for freshly baked wheat pastries such as cinnamon buns and vanilla buns, a slice of carrot cake or a taste of the famous Albykringla. For goodies in a glass, there is both locally produced apple juice from Dyre Gård and freshly squeezed orange juice on the menu. The cafe also makes sandwiches that will appeal to most people!
