Nice place to stroll. Of course very touristy with corresponding prices. Several shops, as well as souvenirs you will also find a pharmacy, dentist, bars, snack bars, restaurant etc. In the back area there is a small terrace with the Playa del Carmen sign and a nice "jungle view".

In honor of the murdered JOSÉ ENRIQUE GONZÁLEZ ROSAS (businessman and member of the local government, murdered on April 8, 2018 in the Mexican resort of Playa del Carmen), a Ceiba tree (also known locally as Yaxché) was planted here in the "Small Square of Peace". The memorial plaque bears the quote attributed to him: "El Mal Nunca Vencerá al Bien - Evil will never defeat good". Although it has not been conclusively clarified, it is assumed that a Mexican cartel was behind his murder.

Well-known party location in Playa del Carmen. Unfortunately, it is now completely overpriced and no longer as nice as the original bar at the ferry port.
