Fantastic bakery - good range of sweet and savoury pastries, pies etc., including good vegetarian options (the cheese and red onion pasty is incredible), and great coffee.

This section is known as the Reivers Trail 10. I think this has been an old railway line, so the surfaces are just about flat, quite fast flowing, but they can hold puddles of murky water through rainy days. It is easy enough to ride past the puddles and pick a decent ride line though

I parked adjacent to part of the golf course, slightly further away than the main Gosforth Park Racecourse. There is a track around a grassed area. Some puddles seem to be there most of the time, but there are loads of gaps and drier areas, where you do not need to walk amongst puddles. Free parking and plenty of space

Heading south through Gosforth, the Regent Centre is on the right side, some big buildings are located there, Gosforth Metro Station also. The main road through is a busy road but it does have cycleways that are relatively safe to ride on

The crazy golf course is opposite the entrance of the golf club. Several fountains and water features are in amongst the course
