Great bridleway. Can be very muddy at the Beamish end. Mostly uphill when going eastwards

Riding through Ridley Gill woods there area few abstract art features, this one being a horse pulling a plough and the lady working the horse. These features are surprising and maybe most people would not expect to see them in these woods. They decorate the woods well

Beamish Hall is set within large horticultured grounds, it seems to be a Georgian or Victorian building that is now a hotel. It is a tidy place to ride through and take a few photos. Although there is a road on Komoot maps where you can exit, it was blocked off, so the main entrance is the only access and exit point that can be used.

Nice area for small children as there is a nice clean track. You can go off Track if you choose to do so. Lots of exciting sculptures to look at on the way around
