The Gruberalm is nestled between Regenspitz, Gruberhorn and Feichtensteinalm area. It is easy to reach: From the PP at the end of the road in Lämmerbach or by bus 157 from Faistenau to the Lämmerbach bus stop via the hiking trail (entry just above the PP at a barrier) approx. 3/4 hour. There are 3 rustic huts on the Gruberalm: Mayerlehenhütte, Hinterleitnhütte, Grubenbachalm. Starting point for a hike to the Feichtenstein (beautiful hiking trail) or if you arrive by bus, cross the Feichtenstein via the Feichtensteinalm, descend to Hintersee (possible via the forest-water magic trail).
