Die Eismamsell is a very popular, modern ice cream parlor and a well-known food truck, located directly on the central Bischof-Nausea-Platz in the historic heart of Waischenfeld. The business, managed by Kerstin Wolf, is known for its homemade, artisanal ice cream made from fresh ingredients, which is affectionately called "Scheeladdo" in the Franconian dialect. In addition to classic and unusual flavors, including vegan options, the café offers milkshakes, coffee specialties, and cool drinks in its cozy outdoor seating area. The establishment opens during the warm months from May to September, from Thursday to Sunday in the afternoon and evening hours, while Mondays to Wednesdays are rest days. Due to its central location on the market square, Die Eismamsell is considered a perfect stopover for hikers and cyclists in the Wiesenttal.

The cycle path between Hollfeld and Stechendorf is officially known as the Franconian Switzerland High Trail. The path follows the former railway line between Bayreuth and Hollfeld, which was closed in 1974. Thanks to the use of the old railway line, the route is largely flat and gently sloping. From Hollfeld, the path leads along the Wiesent Valley towards Stechendorf and on to Bayreuth. It is often also referred to as a leisure cycle path or a railway line path.
