Skallingen Beach is easily accessible by car or bike. There's a large parking lot, and the walk through the dunes to the beach is not too strenuous.

From here you can no longer walk straight ahead because of the nature reserve. The path to the left (picture 3) looked promising, but ended after 60 meters. The path to the right (picture 1) would probably have continued, but looked unwalked for a long time. Since there are generally nature reserves in the area, there was no "trial and error".
