Pretty gate, definitely invites you to walk through it, but it only becomes a highlight when you know the stories about it. The street you reach is really worth seeing. Here numerous ropes with shoes were stretched across the street

The "Ur-Hölle-Nord" was built in 1975 and was then the scene of many important moments in the club history of SG Weiche-Handewitt and TSB Flensburg - from which SG Flensburg-Handewitt emerged in 1990. The junior team and many SG youth teams still play in the Wikinghalle today. The Bundesliga team also sometimes moves into the 2,000-capacity hall.

The Nordermarkt has its roots in the 12th century, when the parish of St. Marien was founded. As one of the oldest settlements in Flensburg, what was probably the city's oldest market square was soon built. Initially used as a place of trade and judgment, the Nordermarkt has always been a center of urban life. Overlooked by the imposing St. Mary's Church and accessible through the impressive Schrangen with its characteristic arcades, the Nordermarkt combines history and architecture in a fascinating way. Here, the flair of the Middle Ages mixes with modern gastronomy and open-air dining, which has characterized the square since the 1980s. (https://weites.land/nordermarkt-flensburg/)

The port consists not only of ships but also of a lot of other things: not only the port facilities are part of it, but also the adjacent buildings, small streets and old merchants' yards.
