The Renaissance castle Engelsholm Slot is beautifully situated on the shores of Engelsholm Lake with its associated forest and park. The castle has had many owners over the years but has been used as a college since 1940. The castle is rectangular in plan with square towers with onion domes at each corner and inspired by the castle Ancy-le-Franc in Burgundy, France - almost a copy with "pure" Danish lines. https://www.visitvejle.dk/vejle/planlaeg-ferien/engelsholm-slot-gdk608111
